1892 Campaign Rattler for President Benjamin Harrison and Vice Presidential candidate Whitelaw Reid made of wood with paper decals in red, white, blue, and black. Each side has a different campaign message and image. Side 1 - "In Hoc Signo Vinces Harrison, One Good Term Deserves Another". Side 2 - In "Hoc Signo Vinces";" & Reid" - The "Tippecanoe Rattler". The top is shaped like a top hat with a picture of Benjamin Harrison on one side and with a picture of Whitelaw Reid on the other. Below the hat shape is a shield, red, white , and blue. On the Reid side is a strip of wood that is attacked at the shield and comes down to the turn handle that makes the noise. On Reid side "Patented Aug. 9th, 1892. / J. A. Crandall. See above. On Harrison side "Sackett & Wilhelms Litho. Co., New York" below shield.
