Thank you for your interest in experiencing the home and gardens of the only U.S. president elected from Indiana!

The Delaware Street home of Benjamin Harrison is open for guided tours every two hours Monday through Thursday 10am- 2pm, Fridays on the hour 10am-2pm, Saturdays on the hour 10am-3pm and Sundays on the hour from 12pm-3pm.

Visitors will see three floors, ten rooms and a nationally significant collection of over 10,000 artifacts on exhibit. An extraordinary 75-80% are original to the Harrison family. The 1875 Italianate Victorian family home of Benjamin Harrison provides insight into his family’s life and history. The three-level historic landmark underwent $400,000 in restoration work thanks to a Save America’s Treasures grant. The home is beautifully furnished with many of Harrison’s paintings, furniture, and other artifacts including political memorabilia. The reconstructed carriage house, now our Welcome Center, features changing exhibits, as does our 3rd floor ballroom exhibit space.
